LAMP Begins Site Investigations Across the Lab
The Linear Assets Modernization Project (LAMP) will begin preliminary site investigations of underground utilities this spring. The project will modernize our utility systems to meet growing power demands, ensuring we can support advanced scientific computing capabilities across the Lab.
Collaboration Commons Growth
The Lab’s Collaboration Commons is taking shape. The structural steel is in place and undergoing welding through March. Concrete is also being poured this month. You can check on the progress through the live web camera.
Blackberry Gate Closed on eight Saturdays

Structural Beam Signing 1/14 – 1/19

Help Name the Lab’s New Building
In Spring 2027 a new 47,743-square-foot building will open in the center of the Lab’s hill site. It will house food service (and a coffee bar!), conference facilities, and a home for Operations services such as Security, Human Resources, and the Health Services Clinic. What it needs right now, though, is a name.
