Berkeley Lab is a complex mix of new and old infrastructure so collaboration with different groups and divisions ensures projects have the support they need to safely complete work. Below are some of the divisions PIMD works with most closely:
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Division protects all workers at Berkeley Lab, the public, and our environment by providing efficient and effective professional and technical expertise, follow-on services, and an integrated safety management approach to Berkeley Lab’s research and supporting programs.
Facilities
The Facilities Division provides building maintenance and infrastructure support for over 90+ buildings at the Lab covering 200+ acres of groundwork, and in addition, management of various Lab site services and amenities.
Project Management Office (PMO)
The Project Management Office (PMO) provides assistance to project teams and assurance to senior leadership that LBNL projects are managed to the highest standard of performance. The PMO partners with Divisions and Operations Areas across Berkeley Lab.
