“The PIMD Safety Council Meeting idea is brilliant! The LBNL team shares with the contractors on campus lessons-learned occurred on all the projects and provides updates on procedures/specs changes (or any other update/changes) that will be take place in near future which is absolutely helpful for us as contract to be ready and avoid surprises. Also PIMD Safety Council provides an opportunity for us to express our perspective on matters that can be improved. We as a team were able to smooth a lot of procedures and remove few roadblocks so far.” – Ali Habibi, Project Manager
“The PIMD Safety Council monthly forum is an excellent interface between contractors and the lab, I appreciate the ability to discuss safety concerns and give and receive feedback regarding lessons learned. The Safety Council provides an inclusive environment and shares information regarding upcoming changes in safety guidelines while soliciting feedback from contractors. These meetings are a benefit to both contractors and the lab and I believe will be even more so with time.” – James Lane, Crouse Construction
